The one where I needed another rescue.
Meet Cleanse to the Rescue from HUM. These guys are everywhere (in an awesome way of course cause that means their goodies are easily accessible). 🙂 I’ve been eyeing HUM prior to incorporating dietary supplements into my life. I’ve nothing but great things about this brand and their products, so I knew I had to give them a shot. 🙂
I have an upcoming dream vacation to Greece next week, so I thought it would be appropriate to start the Cleanse to the Rescue, which is a 21 day cleanse. HUM claims it’s “for radiant skin and a flatter stomach.” They use a combination of two existing products already in their line up—the Daily Cleanse and Flatter Me Digestive Enzymes. For the past 5 years, I like to do some sort of colon cleanse (about twice a year), so I was due for one which seemed even more convenient. 🙂 And since I’m islanding it up and gonna be in my swimsuit, a flatter tummy is necessary. 🙂 So all the signs say that the Cleanse to the Rescue is the way to go.
According to HUM, the Cleanse to the Recuse “21-day detox is full of herbal treats and enzyme blends clinically shown to cleanse your system.” They even cite various studies that show digestive enzymes having multiple health benefits. Y’all can check that out here Cleanse to the Recuse. It’s a bit lengthy but very informative. And I can’t stress enough the importance of doing y’all’s own research. Everybody’s body is different, so research, learn, and do what’s right for y’all. 🙂 Basically, it’s meant to be a total health renewal. HUM says that the “Daily Cleanse combines the Who’s Who of the botanical world to for clear skin. Organic chlorella algae, bladderwrack kelp, beetroot and milk thistle work together to detox and protect your largest organ (the skin) as well as liver, bowels, kidneys, lungs, and lymphatic system. Flatter Me is our comprehensive enzyme blend that supports all major phases of nutrient digestion. Optimized to breakdown protein, carb, fiber, and fats, Flatter Me helps relieve indigestion and pave the way to a slimmer, happier body.” So ultimately, the combination of the Daily Cleanse and Flatter Me aims to support healthy digestion, skin, and a flatter stomach. 🙂
If y’all follow me on Instagram (and I hope y’all do. If not, follow me at @beautyfindsadventures), I’ve mentioned the Cleanse to the Rescue before where I gave an update in realtime. 🙂 Now is the time to give my final say and personal opinions of this dietary combo supplement. On Instagram after two weeks on the cleanse, I noted that “my thoughts are indifferent. I have not noticed a difference. This definitely isn’t like any other capsulated cleanse I’ve done in the past. TMI, but I actually feel more irregular using this, than prior to starting the Cleanse to the Rescue. And same does for the “flatter stomach”–I look and feel more bloated. Nothing in my daily life has changed except using this. I still eat healthy, still workout, still keep myself hydrated.”
So after the final week, I’m sadden to say that the Cleanse to the Rescue just didn’t work out for me. It happens, and it’s the truth. I continued to feel bloated and have irregular bowel movements for the remainder of the course. At one point, I just wanted to stop cause using it make me feel and look worse than prior to usage. But I carried on hoping that things could change even at the last day. 🙂 I don’t want y’all to feel discouraged about this product cause I’m taking two new capsules. Who knows, one of these two products could actually be working but may be masked by the other. I can’t really tell, unless I decide to try these two individually. I won’t disregard their line at all, knowing that others have had great success with HUM products. I just gotta find the one I need and works for me. 🙂
HUM has a great array of products that I’d still love to check out. Have y’all used their goodies? Which one(s) have been successes for y’all? 🙂
