The one that’s rich in omega-7.
Meet Omega-7 Support from Sibu Sea Berry Therapy. I know that this has been a long overdue post, but better late than never. If y’all been following my blog, I’ve taken a liking (and new added direction to Beauty Finds Adventures). One day, I had an epiphany, and it dawned on me that beauty isn’t just skin deep. I believe beauty is just not about the products I put on my skin, but what I eat (supplements included) and drink is just as important. Y’all can read more of my newfound ideology of Beauty Finds Adventures in inner and outer beauty on my Beauty Supplements post and First Year Blog Anniversary post. 🙂
Sibu’s key ingredient is the sea buckthorn. Found in the Himalayas, these berries are the world’s richest source for omega-7, the vital component to collagen production. Used topically on the skin or nutritionally ingested, Sibu has got your omega-7 covered, as well as omegas-3, 6, and 9.
According to Sibu’s, there are a wide range of traditional health-related uses for the sea buckthorn berry:
- Sustained energy levels
- Improved cellular health
- Cardiovascular support
- Healthy inflammation response
- Joint support
- Moisturizing dry and damaged skin
- Improved immune health
- Decrease in wrinkles and fine lines
- Addressing eczema and rosacea symptoms
- Omega-7 source
Now let’s take a closer look into the beauty aspects and benefits of omega-7. 🙂 It is an important building block for hair, skin, and nails, and it helps against signs of wrinkles, skin dryness, loss of skin elasticity, and signs of aging skin. How does it help do all that? 🙂 According to Sibu, omega-7 helps support the skin by:
- Boosting collagen production
- Protecting against oxidative damage
- Restoring youthful resilience and plumpness to aging skin cells
- Rejuvenating skin cell membranes
- Enhancing the skin’s ability to retain moisture
- Repairing sun-damaged skin
- Protecting against sun damage, toxins and environmental stress
Sibu also has researched that omega-7 can also help with weight management. They’ve found clinical studies that have shown when “taken internally, omega 7 fatty acid signals the body to stop storing fat” as well as helps “keep it off for longer periods.” Furthermore, the “research shows that omega 7 imitates a hormone in the body that helps regulate systemic metabolic activity.” Y’all can learn even more by checking out Sibu’s Omega-7 information here.
Sibu uses the highest quality of sea buckthorn berries found in the Himalayas. These berries are harvested and processed the same say to ensure that their integrity and benefits are preserved at its peak. So Sibu products including the Omega-7 Support Sea Buckthorn Oil softgels work at the cellular levels for greater health benefits, such as:
- Promotes healthy skin, hair & nails
- May help reduce symptoms of Eczema & Rosacea
- Supports mucosal membranes including digestive, urinary & genital tract health
- Vegan source of Omegas
- Antioxidant & anti-inflammatory protection
- Blend of Sea Berry fruit & seed oils
- Help Alleviate Vaginal Dryness
I received a bottle of the Omega-7 Support Sea Buckthorn Oil softgels (the 60 count). Directions say to take two softgels daily, thus this lasted only a month. I started on the first of March and took me month and some change to finish it. To be perfectly honest, I was (and still am) new to take supplements on a daily basis. So I did forget to take a dose at times. 🙂 But I finished and a month later (as mentioned earlier per my overdue post comment), I’m happy to report my personal findings.
I’ve definitely seen a dramatic change to my hair and nails since first using these softgels. I cut my hair at the beginning of February, and now my hair has grown faster than it normally does. I seriously think I need to make another hair appointment soon. My hair definitely feels healthier overall. Nothing has changed with my hair routine—same hair products and no heat products used (it’s actually been a while since I’ve blow dried my hair or used a straightener or curler as a matter of fact). 🙂
Pretty much, same goes with my nails. My nails grew at an alarming rate where I felt like I had just cut nails. Oh, and the best part was that my nails where much stronger. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that my nails were getting brittle and breaking a lot (thyroid levels are good), so I’ve been keeping them a lot shorter than normal. But since starting the Omega-7 Support Sea Buckthorn Oil softgels, my nails have strengthened so much and no breakage at all. 🙂 Oh, the little joys in life. So now, a month after I’ve stopped using these softgels, my nails are brittle again and I have 2 broken nails. So sad.
I really can’t comment on skin changes cause it was too soon to tell, as the skin regenerates about every 28 days. I definitely see the long term potential with using Sibu’s Omega-7 Support Sea Buckthorn Oil softgels. I highly recommend it for those helping to look for a beauty supplement that aids in strengthening hair, skin, and nails. 🙂 I can attest for changes before, during, and after using the softgels and have experienced positive results during the usage period. 🙂
