The one and first ever Love Beauty + Wellness Festival.

Last last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the first ever inaugural debut of the Love Beauty + Wellness Festival here in Los Angeles.  It was held at the Hudson Loft in Downtown LA, literally a few blocks away from the Staples Center and LA Live.  It was a typical hot hot day in LA, but I was glad to be in an air condition building surrounded by love, beauty, and wellness.

The Love Beauty + Wellness Festival was a single day indoor event hosted by Love Organic Beauty and sponsored by Thoughtfully Magazine.  It featured various speakers committed to natural beauty and living a holistic lifestyle.  From brand creators to beauty influencers to holistic educators, this event was a one stop shop for beginners and experts alike.  They even had 3 separate rooms of pop-up retail shops to browse amongst.  I was eager to check out the #greenbeauty sections, but I couldn’t help but also checking out the beautiful jewelry pieces and gorgeous dresses.  There also was a little mediation section and next door were tables filled with jaw-dropping crystal stones.  So much to see, learn, hear, shop, and eat, but so little time.  🙂  It was heartwarming to be able to connect with other green beauty lovers under one roof.

I’d like to highly a few brands that really caught my attention as I roamed my way around:

  • Moon Juice
  • Energy Muse
  • The Wicked Boheme
  • Zenbunni Chocolates
  • Gemstone Organic
  • Apothecanna

love_beauty_wellness_festival_gift_bagI remember when I first started transitioning into a more holistic lifestyle, it was a bit overwhelming for me.  I wish they had this event back when I initially started, but I so glad and appreciative that the Love Beauty + Wellness Festival exists today.  It was a great wholesome event to meet, chitchat, and learn about natural beauty and wellness.  And it’s a bonus when lunch is provided by Café Gratitude.  I’ve heard some interesting things about Café Gratitude, and I definitely wanted to taste test them out for myself.

One thing I was upset about it that I wish I took more photos.  I was just so excited to be there and check out everything, that I totally forgot to take my photo ops.  Shame on me.  Though, I will share the lovely tote bag filled with awesome goodies with y’all.  🙂  Let’s play “I Spy” and lemme know the goodies y’all have tried or loved.  I’ve checked out a few of em already, and it makes me want more.  🙂  Can’t wait for the next event!
