The one with hues of Autumn.

Meet my three Fall Inspired Makeup Looks.  While it’s still rather hot here in LA, I’m feeling all the Autumn vibes around the country.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the warm LA weather, but I’m looking forward to extra cuddle time with the bf (he’s my personal heater).  🙂

So I’ve decided to create 3 Fall-esque Makeup Looks to suite any occasion—a barely there, but “I still look good” look, a date out playing catch-up with a friend, and an evening bolder look (that doubles as a day look).  Let’s get right to em!

“No Makeup” Fall Look.  This is an easy and fun look to recreate for a subtle yet head turning makeup look.  I’ll make people think “is she wearing makeup…it doesn’t look like it…but she’s looking good!”  🙂  For me, it’s my everyday makeup application, which I tweak with a swipe of a different lip color.  Here’s going for that transitioning to fall au natural look with subtle pink tones.

Here’s what I did:

  • Start will a good base—for me, skincare first, then foundation and concealer. My current foundation is from Root, it’s their Pearl Powder Mineral Foundation in the shade G5, which is slightly still not my perfect shade (that summer glow is to blame, but I’m totally ok with that).
  • For my concealer, I use my usual Root Pearl Powder Mineral Foundation shade in G4—just mixed with a drop of face serum to create a concealer paste to cover up areas on thee face.
  • Added warmth with the Hynt Beauty SOLARE Bronzing Powder to my jawline, halos of my cheeks, and forehead hairline.
  • Touch of blush using 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush in Pretty Naked to the apples of my cheeks.
  • Brows are filled and defined using Plume’s Nourish & Define Pomade in Chestnut Decadence.
  • Eyes: Jane Iredale Eggplant Eyeshadow on the creases, followed by Root Loose Eyeshadow in Paris to the lids, and Pacifica Coral Sand Eyeshadow to the inner corners of eyes. And blend well.
  • Highlighting with W3ll People Bio Brightener Stick.
  • Completed the look with Au Naturale su/Stain Lip Stain in On Pointe and 100% Pure Maracuja Mascara in Blackberry.

Friend Date Day Fall Look.  With this day look, I’m upping up the pink tones and warming up the eye look.  This is such a playful look for me, specially with that lip color!

Here’s how I turned my first everyday look above into a day sensation look:

  • As always, a good makeup base is key to great makeup application. I’m still using the Root Pearl Powder Mineral Foundation G5 all over and then G4 for my concealer shade.
  • This time, I added more warmth with 100% Pure Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer in Cocoa Glow.
  • Changed my blush to the Root Loose Mineral Blush in Bubblegum.
  • Still used Plume’s Nourish & Define Pomade in Chestnut Decadence to fill and define my brows.
  • Eyes: Root Loose Eyeshadow in Paris on the creases, followed by Teri Miyahira Beauty Eyeshadow Pan in Cheerful to the lids, a touch of Jane Iredale Fudge Eyeshadow to the outer corners of the eyes, and Pacifica Skinny Dip Eyeshadow to the inner corners of eyes. Again, blend, blend, blend!
  • Highlighting Pacifica Skinny Dip Eyeshadow.
  • Used 100% Pure Maracuja Mascara in Blackberry.
  • And topped it all off with Root Pretty Balms—Merlot all over and highlighted with Ballet in the center.

Date Night Fall Look.  I gotta be honest, while I’m a natural makeup look gal, I love sprucing up the look this time of the year—I’m just loving the colors of Autumn via a makeup look.  I get to use colors, I otherwise won’t use on the daily.  But now’s a great excuse to be a lil extra.  🙂

Here’s how I incorporated Fall colors into my makeup look:

  • Again, same foundation and concealer using the Root Pearl Powder Mineral Foundation G5 all over and then G4 for my concealer shade.
  • Added some warmth using 100% Pure Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer in Cocoa Glow as both a bronzer and blush.
  • Brows are filled and defined using Plume’s Nourish & Define Pomade in Chestnut Decadence.
  • Eyes: Jane Iredale Fudge Eyeshadow on the creases, followed by Pacifica Golden Eyeshadow to the lids, Teri Miyahira Beauty Eyeshadow Pan in Peaceful to the outer corners of the eyes. Because of bolder colors, must blend well (as y’all can see, I could have blended the outer corners a bit more).
  • Highlighting with Maya Chia The Highlight of the Day in Golden Hour.
  • Forgot the mascara here, but I added 100% Pure Maracuja Mascara in Blackberry.
  • Finished with Root Pretty Balm in Scarlett.

Hope these 3 looks help inspire y’all to create your own Fall Makeup Look.  🙂
