The one that’s a cc cream and foundation.

pacifica_ultra_cc_cream_radiant_foundation_closeupMeet Ultra CC Cream Radiant Foundation from Pacifica.  This is my first Pacifica product, and I hope to develop a long lasting relationship with their goodies.  Pacifica is one of many great cosmetics, skincare, and bodycare lines out there right now.  They’re on a mission to deliver natural beauty products without the harmful toxic ingredients.  At Pacifica, they claim to use the safest ingredients that are gluten free, cruelty free, and 100% vegan.  Yay!!!

I’m so glad to finally have the chance to pick up something from Pacifica because I’m currently on the market for a new foundation of sorts.  I’ve been a life-long (since my teenage makeup using years) mineral powder foundation girl.  And while I loved my old powder foundation, I didn’t love the ingredients in it.

Pacifica’s Ultra CC Cream Radiant Foundation was named “Best CC Cream!” by Natural Health Beauty Awards in 2014.  I opted for a CC cream because being that summer is approaching, I wanted something light weight with a light coverage.  I just don’t want that heavy makeup feeling in the blistering 90degree heat.  Definitely not pretty in my opinion.  But what attracted me to their CC cream is that it contains color correcting minerals to help get your most perfect shade.  For me, I tend to be dark on my face compared to my neck.  So I’m hoping this CC cream will help adapt to the color of my neck.  I also like that it contains some spf coverage.  Y’all seriously can’t have too much spf.  I believe it’s the number 1 prevention to aging and skin damage (and of course skin cancer).

pacifica_ultra_cc_cream_radiant_foundation_boxFortunately, with all Pacifica products, it is more readily available for in-store purchases.  My local Target, Ulta Beauty, and natural market stores all carry Pacifica.  Another plus with Pacifica is that their goodies are pretty affordable.  Unfortunately, color selection is lacking.  This Ultra CC Cream Radiant Foundation for example comes in two shades:  1) warm/light, 2) natural/medium.  Being light skinned, I opted for the warm/light shade.  Hopefully, it’s not too light for me.  With that said, I’ll give y’all further feedback with my honest thoughts and opinions real soon, so stay tuned!  🙂
