The one(s) where beauty starts from within.

Last month held the most coveted beauty expo in LA, I’m talking about the Indie Beauty Expo.  A 3-day event filled with fun, laughs, drinks, chats, and beauty, of course.  Indie beauty brands from all over the world attended this glorious event, from makeup to skincare to even beauty supplements.  🙂  They had everything beauty related showcased at the expo.  And just a few weeks ago, I wrote my first Indie Beauty Expo LA 2017 series featuring Indie Beauty Expo LA 2017 – Just Launched.  Check it out, it’s not to be missed!  🙂

For the second in the series, it’s all about beauty supplements.  Skincare beauty isn’t just about the products that y’all put on your skin.   What y’all consume on the daily is just as important to nourishing the skin.  🙂  Just like environmental factors, such as stress, it affects the body in more ways than one.  If I sleep too late, I breakout the next morning.  If I don’t drink enough water, my skin feels dehydrated.  If I eat too much junk food, I always feel bloated.  And the list goes on and on.  So nourishing your body from the inside will help nourish your body on the outside.  And this is where beauty supplements come into place.

Dietary supplements aren’t anything new, but they are definitely getting more recognition nowadays.  It seriously is one hero product to another.  Matcha was and is still a key player for its antioxidant properties.  So are chia seeds, acai berries, goji berries, maca, turmeric, hemp seeds, etc.  They’re all great, yes they are!  🙂  But lemme introduce y’all to a few brands y’all need to know.  🙂

The Beauty Chef calls Australia home.  It is the world’s first Living skincare range that consists of organic skincare and food.  According to founder, Carla Oates, “The first step to healthy, radiant skin is balancing digestive health. Good skincare follows.”  She has formulated blends with naturally bio-fermented ingredients to help nourish the skin inside and out.  These nutrients will not only provide healthy skin but a healthy gut as well.

DNAEGF Renewal started as an anti-aging skincare line and is now dipping into beauty supplements.  World-renowned dermatologist Dr. Ronald Moy knew all along that in order to improve overall skin health, it requires effective and clean ingredients.  So they’ve created 3 special supplements to help boost the body’s natural repair process.  The Glow Blend, a greens powder to moisturize the skin from within.  The Remedy and Nox Blends, a twice daily supplement used in conjunction with one another.  The Remedy Blend kick starts the DNA repair process, while the Nox blend boosts the body’s natural circadian rhythm.

Hum Nutrition is probably most recognized cause they can be found in Sephora.  They believe that “beauty starts from within.”  With a wide range of product to choose from, Hum Nutrition makes is quite simple to choose the best beauty supplement for y’all.  Cause they got a quick 3-minute quiz available online to help y’all get started.  Bonus, after the quiz, y’all will get $10 off your first purchase.  It seriously doesn’t get any better than that.

Sibu Sea Berry Therapy, I met by chance at the expo.  They didn’t have a booth, but I stumbled upon their representative who attended.  We chatted about skincare, but then she mentioned about their Omega-7 Pure supplement.  I’m like “whaaat?!?”  Here’s the deets, y’all.  Sibu’s key ingredient is the sea buckthorn.  Found in the Himalayas, these berries are the world’s richest source for omega-7, the vital component to collagen production.  Used topically on the skin or nutritionally ingested, Sibu has got your omega-7 covered.

The Spa Dr., aka, Dr. Trevor Cates is a reowned naturopathic doctor, who has developed products and programs to help y’all achieve glowing skin and vibrant health.  Yes, there’s a skincare system, but with a newly launched book titled “Clean Skin From Within,” y’all gotta check out the dietary supplement line.  🙂  Y’all can choose between three options: 1) All-In-One 14 Day Cleanse Kit.  2) All-In-One Daily Shake.  3) Daily Nutrients Packets.

Vital Proteins is no stranger to the Indie Beauty Expo (in fact, no stranger on social media).  I first stumbled on Vital Proteins at the Indie Beauty Expo last summer in NYC.  One word: collagen!  🙂  They are seriously sprinkling the world with collagen.  They believe “that whole food based nutrition containing collagen is essential for one’s overall health, fitness and wellbeing.”  It’s true cause collagen is the key component to healthy bones, joints, skin, hair, and nails.  Whether it’s used for health, fitness, or beauty, Vital Proteins has got y’all taken care of.

And done!  🙂  Just a few beauty supplement brands from the Indie Beauty Expo LA 2017.  I highly encourage y’all to further look into these great brands.  Like I’ve said (and many of these brands), beauty starts within.  🙂  Stay tuned for another Indie Beauty Expo LA 2017 post in the near future.  If y’all aren’t following me on Instagram @beautyfindsadventures, y’all should cause I got a giveaway that’s happening on Friday featuring some #ibela2017 goodies.  🙂
